Firebirds Snuf Out Spitfires

Less than a day after a good rain, the field was damp and soaked in some areas. After inspecting the field, the co-captains Andre Carranza and Zeus Espinoza were instructed to choose to attack the first half against the wind. The first half was underway for barely 4 minutes when Mitchel Sherman made a nice through pass to Conner Golden who punctuated his break away with a clean shot. His shot was partially blocked by the Spitfires goalie, but the ball finished its course in the goal.
